Three-Day Wellbeing Retreat for body and mind at Pentillie Castle

As you enjoy the serene peace of one of the most spectacular venues in the South West with a small group of likeminded men and women, you’ll have the opportunity to fully unwind, eat beautiful, high-vibrational food and explore your very own ways of wellbeing.

We know that the current restrictions are still concerning but because Pentillie Castle will be exclusively ours, our small group will be safe and happy! In addition we have relaxed our cancellation policy and you will not lose out in case you can't join us due to Covid-19.

Dr Vikki Barnes, Clinical Psychologist and Happiness Consultant
Carola Becker, Nutrition Coach and Fitness Instructor

Both are passionate and experienced in their fields, well-known speakers with an unconventional style and instinctive enthusiasm about wellbeing.

Pentillie Castle will be exclusively yours for the duration of the event and we have a created a wonderful package of experiences for all senses:

You will stay in beautiful rooms with stunning views, learn about Vikki’s scientific way of finding happiness, enjoy ‘Carola-inspired’ foods that support your health and wellbeing, you can join in for a wild swim or SUP to awaken body and mind, foraging to learn more about nature and its treasures, a yoga session to calm you down, some meditation to explore your mindfulness…. And make life-long friends!
 
Wild swimming is shown to have mental health benefits, so we’ll make the most of the River Tamar at our doorstep to give our bodies and minds an exhilarating boost of fresh water in the wilderness. Fun and energising for hearts and souls!
 
For the adventurous amongst us, we’ll hire stand up paddle boards and find balance in nature as we float downstream, through the countryside. If we fall in, we’ll benefit from a splash of cool water and a good belly laugh!
 
On a clear night, we'll find little pockets of space away from light pollution look up and marvel at the night sky. Explore the constellations, the phase of the moon and if we’re lucky, make a wish on a shooting star!
 
Join us for an awe walk, which is just as it sounds. We’ll amble through the wilderness, exploring all that nature has to offer in the small wonders of the world that are all around us. We focus on the world outside of our heads, which is shown to reduce stress and increase happiness.
 
If you’d like to try forest bathing, we’ll amble into the woodland gardens, soaking up the atmosphere through all our senses. A truly calming and mindful experience.

What to Expect:
When you join the retreat, expect to let go of the responsibilities of your everyday life (maybe even unplug your phone!), and create space for yourself to explore your very own wellbeing.
 
Our retreat is what you make it, and if you want to spend the entire retreat exploring the 55 acres of woodland and direct access to the River Tamar, you are welcome to. If you want to interact and have a hands-on experience and learn about nutrition, meditation, time in nature, yoga and positive psychology, it’s all there for the taking!
 
However you decide to approach the retreat, you can be sure to find a safe space to be you, be comfortable, eat well, and take a step towards awakening your wellbeing potential.

Double or Twin room  - double occupancy:
£750.00 per person, special early bird 699.00 per person 
 
We recommend booking early as we only have a limited number of rooms
with river view!

Please note that when you are booking with us, you understand and accept the following terms and conditions:

A 50% deposit must be paid to secure your booking
The remainder balance must be received by 19 March 2021 
Bookings made after 19 March 2021 must be paid in full.


If we need to cancel the event due to Covid-19, you will receive a full refund, no admin fee will apply.

​If you wish to cancel your retreat for any other reasons, you must confirm this in writing. 
If your cancellation happens before 19th February 2021, you will receive a full refund minus a 10% admin charge.

If you cancel between 19 Feb and 19 March 2021 a 50% refund will be provided.
If you cancel after 19 March 2021, no refund is provided.
 
We advise you take out cancellation insurance at the time of booking, which will help cover any cancellation fees. If you fail to join the retreat, arrive after the commencement of the retreat, or leave the retreat prior to its completion, no refund will be made.
